15919 — TAILGATE HARDWARE REBUILD KIT

Tailgate Kit

Warranty: Limited Lifetime

When the original equipment tailgate handle on certain Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra pickup trucks fails, the dealer only sells the required repair components individually, including the same plastic handle that is often the assembly's failure point. Rather than invite a similar future repair, fix that broken handle and upgrade a tired tailgate for the long term with this Dorman OE FIX tailgate handle repair kit. Instead of the factory plastic handle, the handle in this kit is constructed of rugged steel with a rust-resistant black zinc coating. The kit also includes the cables, latches and other components and hardware needed to completely rebuild the tailgate handle assembly.

About this Item
  • Upgraded repair - this tailgate handle repair kit includes a much more durable black zinc-coated steel handle designed to seamlessly replace the failure-prone original equipment handle
  • Complete solution - includes the cables, latches and other components and hardware needed to completely rebuild the tailgate handle assembly on specified Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra trucks
  • Durable construction - designed and manufactured to strict specifications for reliable performance
  • Trustworthy quality - backed by a team of product experts in the United States and more than a century of automotive experience
